On these pages you will find a multitude of diverse images I have taken with some digital cameras.
They tend to reflect the way I see the unverse and I invite you to explore through my eyes.
With the proliferation of affordable digital cameras and the ease of
publishing it means the likes of me can share aspects of self which is
great, "A picture is worth a thousands words" etc etc and so forth, (not that I am neccessarily short of them either when it comes to the two finger tango)
All the pctures on "Pages 01" through "11" have been taken with a Casio QV-R 40,
a 4 megapixel pocket sized camera. The close-ups were acheived by the
addition of a simple slip-on lense I put together out of some old
binocular parts. All pictures from "Page 12" onwards are taken with a Panasonic FZ50.

Most images are untouched except for a little cropping and optimization for the web.

Now I tend to hang off the back of a Nikon D5100 when I can and using for the most part, an AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED (not
that it matters it is still just a camera which unfortunately hasn't
learnt to discriminate between the good and bad shots.......... sigh) but no matter I am very grateful for being able to use it.
This next is a new line of work, selected images with a random thought or two thrown in for good measure.
Given
time this theme may develop into a book version, let me know if it
floats your boat. I note that the images display but a small fraction
of what shows on the screens I use, but there you have it the
limitations of NZ bandwidth speed and expense.
